First time using Italki. Although I can't express myself well in Japanese and despite being a bit nervous I had a very good experience with Nobuya-san. He was relaxed and friendly, and that helped me. Thank you very much for the lesson.

Nobi sensei is an active listener and he listens with the intent of understanding the scenario that I am explaining, and asks, contributes and sometimes challenges what I am discussing so that I don’t only practice my conversations skills but to also to improve how I explain so I can be easily understood by native Japanese speaker.

The journey to fluency is not an easy one. It requires constantly challenging your own beliefs, explaining your thought process, and expressing your opinions in the target language. That is where real growth happens. Language proficiency doesn’t develop in your comfort zone. Just like muscles become stronger through resistance, your language skills grow when you push yourself beyond your perceived limits. Teacher Nobby’s 討論レッスン does exactly that. Rather than simply teaching vocabulary or grammar, he creates an environment where students are encouraged to think critically, organize their ideas, and communicate them with confidence. Every lesson pushes me to become a more fluent and thoughtful Japanese speaker.

今日はのぶやさんが僕のたくさんの質問に答えてくれて、本当に助かりました。まじでいい先生ですよね。彼の助けがあれば、今年の目標を達成できる可能性が確かにあると思います！今日もありがとうございました！

Always a fun and enjoyable class with nobby sensei!
