Ben Tall TOEFL Freak

Thanks, Ben! I can feel the progress I've made over the past five classes — my ideas are more logical, I feel more confident, and I make fewer mistakes. I’m really lucky to have had the chance to learn from you.

Ben put in a lot of effort before the class by reviewing my speaking records in advance. During the session, he gave me detailed and constructive feedback on my pronunciation, intonation, false starts, repetitions, fillers, and grammar. What I appreciated most was that he organized his suggestions into a well-structured PDF, which makes it easier for me to review and improve later. I also learned how to be more logical when answering TOEFL questions—something I hadn’t considered before. He emphasized the importance of using transition words to make my ideas clearer and more organized in both listening and speaking. I believe this is extremely important if I want to achieve a higher score.

Another great lesson with Ben. We did TOEFL Speaking simulation and after each task he reviewed my answers and we were working on them. Very insightful!

Before this class, I struggled to complete Writing Task 2 within 10 minutes. Thanks to this lesson, I’ve now found a helpful strategy, and I’ll keep practicing it until I can use it effectively in the real TOEFL exam.

Ben provided clear strategies and a well-organized structure for answering all four TOEFL speaking tasks during our first class. He’s incredibly smart and explains everything in a very logical and easy-to-follow way. Although I’ve taken the TOEFL three times before, I hadn’t fully understood the right approach until learning from him. I believe I’ll be able to perform much better after continuing to study with Ben.

Ben has a very structured approach to the goal I need to achieve, he gave me some homework to do before the first class so during the lesson we could work on improvements. I really liked this approach and all the information Ben gave me was important and on point! Very professional teacher!
