Mi acento neutro del Reino Unido y mi enfoque centrado en el examen hacen que tareas complejas como la Writing Task 2 o la Speaking Part 3 parezcan manejables. Como he vivido en Asia durante 20 años, entiendo la frustración que suponen las barreras lingüísticas. Creo que las personas rinden al máximo cuando el proceso de aprendizaje es agradable. Tanto si te estás preparando para el examen IELTS como si estás aprendiendo inglés por el simple placer de aprender un nuevo idioma, el aula debe ser una experiencia agradable y flexible.

Thom is a fantastic teacher! I always look forward our classes because they are full of fun, discussions, and communication. He is not just a teacher but also a friend, who accompanies you in your path to the goal. It is amazing, how he manages to create such a warm atmosphere during his lessons, as though, you are his only student. I feel very comfortable in his course.
He is truly dedicated to his work. I think, that being professional is not just having a lot of knowledge and practice. The master ability to explain complex things in simple language, so that even a child can understand them, this is real aerobatics, and Thom is the one who has this knack. Thom, you are the best!!!

The teacher is approachable and humorous. I felt awkward about my performance the first class test, but I will view it from a positive perspective. Luckily, this was not the real speaking test and I can do better next time. I will also remember to be kind to myself.
