Ciao! I'm a native speaker of Italian and a language teacher with over 18 years of experience.
Learning languages and teaching has always been my huge passion.
I think enthusiasm and motivation along with competence and determination are the key factors to achieve our goals and to have fun at the same time. I have experience in universities, language academies, school groups of all ages, cultural centres and one-to-one tuitions. I am also working as a private tutor and I have been offering 1 to 1 classes for over 17 years both in person and online. Here is what you can expect: in the trial lesson I will assess your level, strengths and weaknesses and we will discuss your interests and your goals as well as your motivation and the time you are willing/able to dedicate to your new language-learning adventure. I will keep monitoring your improvements over time. A feedback after each class will be provided. I believe in the efficacy of a comfortable, encouraging and relaxed atmosphere between the teacher and the learner. I'll provide the support you need and I'll share with you selected materials and tailor-made lessons.

Giada is all of those things and she is charming, with a wonderful sense of humor and an obvious enjoyment of life. I really enjoy chatting with her. I only wish my Italian was half as good as her English. Although she rarely speaks in English, it is clear she is wonderfully fluent. I must find the time to practice more on my own so that my Italian fluency will improve!

Giada is an incredible Italian teacher, she has quickly become one of my favorite teachers on Italki. She clearly understands grammar, but what sets her apart is how she seamlessly incorporates it into practical contexts. This approach makes it so much easier to retain the language.
