I have been learning with Erik for half a year now, and the lessons with him have always been pleasant and helpful – without exception. Erik is open-minded, funny, attentive, and patient, which makes language learning very enjoyable. Erik is also very competent and skillful at explaining things, so I could progress much faster than I had expected.

Erik is a great teacher, organized and structured, yet always leaves space for expression and open dialogue. Even when my energy is low at the end of the day, he manages to keep me engaged and motivated. He never gets tired of repeating or clarifying things when needed, and that patience makes a real difference. With Erik you don't just learn a language, he also teaches you to love a language and the culture. He is the best teacher I ever had. He is always well trained, professional, respectful and very patient. Thanks for all the help.

Erik is a really patient and calm teacher who always encourages me to speak Dutch. We mostly just chat, but it’s never boring - he’s fun to talk to and makes me feel comfortable using the language. He’s great at keeping the conversation going and helping me improve without it feeling like a lesson. I always finish our sessions feeling motivated to keep learning :)

I am really impressed by how Erik is so encouraging and positive even while making corrections -- it makes me look forward to the lessons, not be afraid of making mistakes, and makes studying the language so pleasant that I actually want to work on it between lessons. I feel that I am learning a lot from his willingness to explain things; he's adapted his style to my more analytical approach, even while I'm gaining a more intuitive understanding. Great teacher!
