My name is Freddie and I am a confidence and public peaking coach. I grew up in Oxford but moved to London to run my own tourism company in 2016. I speak with a traditional English accent (Received Pronunciation or 'BBC English'.
As a formerly shy introvert I taught myself how to speak confidently in front of large groups in lecture theatres, museums and on the street and I can help you to feel just as confident in your spoken English!Mostrar traducción

With 5+ years experience in public speaking and presentation I specialise in clear and effective communication. I use video, audio and text materials for the three classes I offer on Italki; my personalised English coaching, Public speaking and Presentation Skills and my once-a-week GROUP classes!

As a student myself on Italki (Russian and Ukranian) I know that having fun whilst learning a language is the most important thing and that it also helps you to remember grammar and vocabulary better. As a foreigner who had spent a substantial amount of time in London and have been using English all my life, I am no stranger to the language itself. Yet there has always been some subtle differences between my pronunciation and my local friends' that I can never get rid of. With the help of Freddie and his pronunciation master class, my decades-long issues in pronunciation are gradually being rectified. Freddie is able to pinpoint my weaknesses and tackle them in an effective, professional and yet vivid manner.
There are good local tutors in plenty at iTalki, but Freddie is definitely something more. If you are hoping to improve your pronunciation, accent, or both, I would absolutely recommend him as your tutor. He is a lad who knows his trade.
