Mi nombre es Americo, y yo soy su "alma vieja" Tutor italiano. Tengo 41 años y soy originario de Latina (Lazio), pero actualmente vivo en la impresionante ciudad medieval de Lucca, en la Toscana.
Certificado por CEDILS y TEFL, licenciado en Lenguas y Literaturas Extranjeras, enseño italiano como segunda lengua desde 2017 a estudiantes de 37 países, utilizando el inglés y el español como lenguas puente.
Viví y trabajé en Reino Unido, España y Alemania, adquiriendo una fuerte sensibilidad intercultural. Hablo con fluidez inglés y español, además de francés básico.

Con 9 años de experiencia, ofrezco un enfoque versátil y empático centrado en el aprendizaje natural y práctico del idioma, siempre sin presiones innecesarias. Cada clase se adapta cuidadosamente a tu ritmo y estilo de aprendizaje, en un ambiente relajado y positivo donde las sonrisas importan.
Me considero una embajadora de la cultura italiana, que ayuda a los italoamericanos a reencontrarse con sus raíces y a los expatriados a integrarse plenamente en la vida en Italia. Nuestras sesiones
Ofrezco rutas de aprendizaje estructuradas para todos los niveles (A1-C1), basadas en un temario original creado por mí. Cada lección de 50 minutos se divide en dos partes.
🗣️ Conversación (20-30 min): Empezamos rompiendo el hielo, hablando con naturalidad sobre ti y tu vida cotidiana, centrándonos en el lenguaje útil y del mundo real.
📖 Gramática y práctica (20-30 min): las nuevas reglas surgen a través de diálogos y lecturas y se aplican inmediatamente con ejercicios prácticos.

I reached out to Americo to help me prepare for my next trip to Italy and he is the perfect tutor for this situation. He has worked in the hospitality industry in the past and therefore very helpful - very ideal, when it comes to "role playing" excercises for various conversations I may have during my trip. I feel very at ease and supported during the lessons, which seems to go fast - Americo is great at keeping the conversation going. I have improved so much just in the few lessons I've had with him and feel more confident with my Italian. After my trip, my language learning goal is to move up to a higher level for Italian and I can already tell that Americo will help me get there.

Learning Italian is one of hardest and most challenging thing I have ever done, but thanks to Americo it continues to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. He is a very patient and encouraging, empathetic and kind teacher. Americo’s professionalism, intuitive nature and attention to detail means that every single lesson is productive and purposeful, but also fun and interesting. He is very good at identifying what I need to work on, when I need to be challenged and when I need help.
I really value and appreciate Americo’s support and encouragement, especially when I am struggling and finding things difficult, he always manages to find a way to turn these moments of frustration into a positive experience. This has really helped me develop my confidence in Italian, which in turn makes me feel more at home and happy in Italy. Grazie Mille Americo! :-)

I’ve been taking lesson with Americo for 2 years. His thoughtful tutelage has been instrumental in my language learning journey. I’ve gone from knowing nothing to being able to hold my own in Italian conversation over that time, and I can’t imagine where I would be without Americo. A great teacher and friend.
