Ivana helped me navigate my first trip to Italia from the U.S. and I was very grateful for the that. I was able to learn enough of the language after only a few months to get where I needed to go. I appreciate her patience, willingness to be creative to my learning style and discipline as a teacher. I truly could not ask for a better teacher. She really cares about what she does! Ivana is an incredible teacher. I recently realized that she and I have been working together for over 2 years. She has taken me from a true beginner with little to know knowledge of the Italian language, through vocabulary, grammar, idiomatic phrases all the way to today when we can converse for an hour and have an instructive and entertaining lesson. She is patient and knowledgeable. Friendly but serious about each lesson. She is a teacher of exceptional instructional skills. A true professional. Thanks for all your support.

Ivana is a very versatile and caring teacher. I have be able to discuss with her the geological formation of Italy; the chemistry of making frescoes and, yes, gelato; the challenges faced in the restauration of Notre Dame Cathedral; the hiking in the national parks of the South West USA; the various periods of art history; and working the flower and plant garden of the back yard. All in Italian. From my slow start in the summer of 2023 to this end of 2025, made possible by technology, since I am in Canada and she is in Italy.
