I'm Clara Chihyu Chen (陳芝羽), a Chinese teacher with a unique teaching approach. I hold a Master's degree in Marketing📈📍 from the US and lived there for six years, which has made me proficient in English. With a background in Theatre🎬 and seven years of experience, I bring creativity and enthusiasm to my lessons. For high-level students, I recommend taking one speaking practice class per week to maintain your Chinese speaking ability. We can discuss anything in this class, just like you would with a Chinese friend😀👋🏼. You can update me about your life or practice new sentences you've learned. I'm on the 10 days journaling challenge, and it's the best decision yet. I'm still on a very basic level, but the fact that I can just freestyle without any pressure has meant that I'm getting more confident in producing my own Chinese sentences. Clara Chen is such an amazing teacher and I'll definitely do this again at some other point in my Chinese learning curve.

I'm very glad I took Clara's journaling bundle!! Clara is extremely thorough and helpful in her reviews. I learned so much in just ten days and can definitely already see the difference in what I feel comfortable saying.
Practicing writing adds a crucial dimension to language learning, and I'm so glad that someone is providing such a great way to get that practice on iTalki!
