Elena does an excellent job teaching beginners. She is patient and encouraging. She also makes an effort to make the lessons fun and informative, by supplying additional materials such as songs or blogs. I have improved my Italian level significantly since joining lessons with her.

The more time I spend learning from Elena, the more I realise how fortunate I am to have chosen her as my teacher. I highly recommend Elena to any potential student who seeks to increase his or her skills and, especially, CONFIDENCE in speaking Italian. Three thumbs up.

Elena is an excellent and highly-experienced language teacher: she is warm, encouraging, and explains points of grammar clearly. I always feel comfortable speaking in our conversation lessons. Elena is also an insightful and knowledgeable guide to Italian culture. I have learned much from her about Italian history, etiquette, customs, dialects, and language use; we have also discussed classic and contemporary films, poetry, art, and contemporary events. Our lessons are always a rich experience for me.

Elena is a brilliant teacher. She has a profound knowledge of the Italian language/culture and of language acquisition for all levels. Her methods are effective, organized and incredibly motivating. Lessons and study routines are personalized together for attainment, mistakes are embraced and quickly corrected and above all - Elena creates a focused environment where you feel truly immersed into a real Italian classroom. She is VERY patient, warm and an absolutely wonderful conversationalist! Highly educated in the Arts, Languages, Humanities and Italian culture. I couldn't ask for a better tutor in advancing my grammar, writing and speaking skills. I'm at an advanced level and to anyone searching to seriously improve and confidently reach their potential, Elena is my first recommendation.
