Andrés González

Another great class. Andres is a first-rate teacher, very easy to talk to, fun and enthusiastic. He adapts to the needs of each student to help them reach their language goals. He is fluent in English so he is able to explain in an easy-to-understand way your grammatical or vocabulary questions as they arise.

I feel grateful to have Andrés as an informal Spanish conversation tutor, each and every class has been fantastic. Andrés has been consistently professional, motivated and patient. He also has many areas of interest so we never run of out conversation topics.

Andres is a great teacher. Structured, intelligent, intuitive, and experienced. He doesn't simply create a conversation he deliberately and confidently identifies where the student is struggling and reinforces the correct way to conjugate verbs and structure the sentence. He is the best !

I have worked with a number of Spanish tutors on iTalki and I can honestly say that Andrés is one of the best. He is extremely flexible but always on time. He always has an exercise ready if needed, but he's also happy to just talk. Whether you're looking for something structured or unstructured, Andrés will not only make sure you're improving your Spanish but that you have fun while doing it. I've probably had 50+ classes with Andrés and I still look forward to each one.

This is potentially a great teacher but I think he feels that I am more accomplished in Spanish than I actually am which is causing him to press for material which is more advanced than I am comfortable with - so I feel that he is getting impatient and not realizing that teaching requires patience, creating a relaxed atmosphere, and going slowly with a lot of repetition. It's hard because Andres can be a great teacher when he relaxes into it.

He is an excellent teacher. Organized, supportive, and able to understand where the student is struggling, and also where they are gaining mastery and confidence.
