Abby

After almost a hundred lessons with Abby, I speak and understand English much better. I even think and dream in English sometimes, even though I don't use it in my daily life very much. As a language learner herself, Abby understands me well, when I can't come up with the right words or sentences, and she always helps me. And, of course, she is super nice! :) Looking forward to our new lesson!

Abby is one the best teachers I met at italki! I enjoyed and learned a lot everytime in her informal conversational lesson. She can talk about many different topics, so I can practice many challenging words and expressions. She gives me good advice and correction timely. I look forward to her next lesson soon!

Abby is a highly qualified, intelligent and supportive teacher. The best thing about our lesson is that she picked up on my mistakes in grammar and wording in detail. Instead of cutting me off when I was speaking, it was very thoughtful of her to make written corrections and examples for me. Also, she asked concise yet thought-provoking questions to keep me thinking. I have realized that I didn't give a good account of myself in some of my answers, but I will do my best to be more productive next time.
