Sebastian Stanley

Sebastian Stanley is a wonderful teacher. He has a wealth of knowledge about the Spanish language and he also knows how to convey this knowledge in a real world, engaging way. He understood what my level was within the first class and has really helped develop my ability to speak and understand. He has never been late for a class once, and he has always been pleasant, focused, clear in his explanations and patient. Also, and for me this is super important, he understood that for my learning style I really need to have the class all in Spanish. He can speak and understand English well, but he understands that for my learning style, I learn much better when the class, including explanations are in Spanish. I really appreciate that he takes the extra time and effort to explain things to me in Spanish and doesn't switch to English, though he speaks it.

Dived straight into learning spanish - a fun and very interesting lesson!

Mr Stanley has a very calm way of teaching his students. He teaches in a way that most teachers don't anymore. I learned a lot in my first lesson. I spent one or two days having my Spanish teacher struggle to teach me the past tense of verbs, but Mr Stanley made me understand in under 20 minutes.

I've had a great time working with Sebastian so far! He's been very flexible with scheduling, letting me hop into a session with very short notice. He is able to efficiently explain concepts to me in a way that makes it easy to understand, often making comparisons to rules in English. Overall, I've had a good experience so far, and I look forward to continuing my lessons with him!

I can't recommend Sebastian enough to anyone looking to learn Spanish. Each class is incredibly educational and also thoroughly enjoyable.
