Hi there! My name is Jessie and I am an Aussie (Australian). I'm currently living in Colombia with my family! I am a marketing professional with over 10 years' experience in brand and marketing strategy and communications. I am well versed in Business English. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business with my Honours in Marketing.
I love travelling the world and learning about different cultures. I love to help people and I have been a volunteer in some capacity for most of my adult life. I am also passionate about health and wellness and I am a self-confessed 'foodie' - meaning I love to eat food and cook!Mostrar traducción

I have been teaching English for over seven years. I now mainly work with adults to help grow their confidence in speaking English for work purposes. Regardless of your goals, I can help you achieve them. I will work flexibly with you and design lessons based on your needs. I am very patient and friendly with a neutral accent. I will provide you with the feedback you need to realise your errors so you can begin to fix them. I have a comprehensive TEFL qualification and a Bachelor's Degree in Business with my Honours in Marketing.

I deliver a range of lessons tailored to the needs of my students. This includes: general conversation classes, interview preparation and resume review, business English, grammar, reading and writing, including for a specific purpose. I have prepared a range of materials to use throughout the class. I provide both active and passive (via messages) and at the end of class I will provide you with a summary of mistakes with corrections and new vocabulary and/or grammar. I really enjoy classes with Jessie; she makes me speak, gently corrects mistakes and helps with vocabulary. Jessie truly has some confidence-boosting magic; even after the first lesson with her it became easier for me to talk to natives (I've had a problem with this for years). Thank you Jessie!

We have had many lessons with Jessie already, but I am still very impressed by her teaching skills and her wide range of knowledge. Jessie pefectly adjusts the content to my needs, she helps me to understand what mistakes I can avoid in English grammar and pronunciation and helps me to get confident in spoken English.
