Yo como profesor

Tengo una licenciatura en interpretación vocal, por lo que mi experiencia con los idiomas comunes del repertorio operístico es muy buena, como el inglés, el italiano (aunque no diría que lo hablo), el alemán y el francés. He enseñado canto y piano en Estados Unidos y Costa Rica durante algún tiempo. Otras experiencias en la enseñanza de idiomas han sido enseñando inglés a refugiados haitianos en Los Ángeles en 1991, de manera informal, dando clases particulares y enseñando inglés a hispanohablantes, y enseñando español a huéspedes de visita en el país. Con mi experiencia en el aprendizaje del kreyol haitiano y estudios en el extranjero en Austria, y aprendiendo español por mi cuenta en Costa Rica, realmente conozco la clave para aprender rápidamente.

Mis clases y método de enseñanza

My teaching style is personable and informal. First, we will chat and find out what you hope to accomplish, perhaps evaluate your level and things you need to work on. From there we will begin with a theme and build together. Informal practice or formal grammar lessons, either is no problem, and my specialty (from my experience in singing) is a practical approach of getting rid of accents to speak English with a neutral manner. Materials will be mostly demonstrated with a white board and written media. Specific homework tasks can be assigned. Your writing skills can be reviewed via chat. ***Please no kids under 15 or language school evaluations.
