I started working with Yvan for TEF preparation but then I switched to TCF preparation, and I can’t recommend him enough for both. He is an exceptional teacher - always well-prepared, patient, and encouraging. He doesn’t just correct grammatical errors; he also suggests more natural and elegant ways to express ideas in French. What really stands out is his positivity and the way he makes learning feel lighter and more enjoyable. Even on days when I feel overwhelmed with work or not in the mood to study, his sessions always leave me feeling more confident and motivated. Every class is thoughtfully structured; he comes prepared with subjects for practice and not a minute of the session is wasted. I always walk away with new insights and a renewed sense of progress. I’m truly grateful to have found such a dedicated and inspiring teacher. Merci beaucoup Yvan!

His interview style conversation are incredible. He was able to improve my vocabulary, grammar and conversational skills a lot. Thanks for answering all my questions about the DELF B2, and for your encouragement and critique of my monologues. After so much practice and with the structure that you have helped me put together, talking on a random subject no longer seems so daunting and I feel (almost) ready for my exam next week.

Yvan has been my teacher since last October, guiding me in preparation for the French B2 Oral Test. At the beginning, it was a real challenge—I had a limited vocabulary and often lacked the confidence to express myself in French. Yet, after just two and a half months of lessons, I can already see remarkable progress. I understand the language more clearly, feel more at ease when speaking, and can now hold meaningful conversations in French with my friends.

Dynamic approach around an immersive conversation-based class. We´ve been having classes for a while and I feel my confidence, preparation and easiness into the language and on the path to take the TEF Canada test, make me more capable day-in and day-out. Real-time conversation over different topics but all relevant and potential livetest scenarios, helped me find out areas of improvement and correct bad habits in real-time.
