I am Ilona from Budapest, Hungary. I love both teaching and learning languages. I studied English and Chinese language and culture at the university. I travelled a lot and lived in China for a year. As a tutor I have two purposes. My short-term teaching purpose is to facilitate my students to communicate with others and have better opportunities. My teaching style aligns with the communicative teaching approach. I like using techniques that are engaging and interactive. I often use positive reinforcement and positive focus to let learners gain confidence.
I like making lesson plans. Every lesson has an objective that my students can reach at the end of the lesson. In my lesson plans, I include lots of practice tailored to individual needs.
