Hello, my name is Aurore. I’m from France and I’ve lived in Peru for 7 years. I'm now living in Malta.
I have a degree in Cultures Languages and Civilisations. I specialised in English, but I also studied Spanish and Italian.
I'm an experienced English teacher and hold an ELT degree, the Cambridge DELTA certification as well as a Teacher Training certificate from Cambridge.
Having been an English student myself I know how it feels to learn English and the difficulties you may have to cope with.
I also studied the methodology and pedagogy to teach French at the Alliance Française.
I am a French native speaker and I also speak fluent Spanish.

Yo como profesor
Languages are my passion and I especially love transmitting it to my students. I started to give English classes in an orphanage 6 years ago. I have been giving English and French private classes for over 6 years now. I have been teaching English in a private English institute to teenagers and adults for more than 3 years. I can teach from beginners to advanced students in English, and from beginners to advanced students in French.
If you are a new teacher or if you want to become an English teacher, I can give some advice on an area you are struggling with and provide some feedback on your lessons.

I think that grammar is important to acquire fluency which is why I include a grammar point when needed. Conversation is also crucial so together we can choose a topic that you want to talk about. I normally make a plan to study with you so that you can be ready. I usually use some articles and videos we can discuss the next class. I also like to know how you learn best: some of us are more visual, others like to write or hear things to remember them. Wether it is in French or in English I can help you with your pronunciation.
I am patient and my objective is not only to see you improve but also to help you to achieve your goals.

Aurora honestly has been the best teacher I’ve learned french with, no exaggeration or anything. She’s extremely supportive, very very well prepared and experienced and knows what she’s doing. I progressed so much with her and if i were to go back in time I would definitely choose her again. Thank you so much for our classes!!

We have been working with Aurore for almost a year now and hope it will continue for as long as possible.
We are very fortunate to find Aurore to help our kids (14yr and 13yr) with French. Our kids enrolled in French Immersion school (so they have the language base) and they have very different personalities. Aurore connected with both of them from the first lesson, and both kids admire her a lot. We like everything about Aurore's teaching style: structure of the lesson, preparedness, patience, homework (!), being playful and very demanding at the same time. After each lesson, Aurore finds time to speak to us to give us a brief summary of the lesson; the progress kids are making; difficulties they are having and plans for the next lesson. It is absolutely amazing.
