Hey everyone! I'm Katharina. I was born in Austria and grew up in Northern Germany, which is why I am speaking a very clear accent free German (even though I understand the "Dialekt" too). One of my passions is to travel and to meet people from all around the world, learning about other cultures, experiences and languages. Anyhow, I love to spend my time in nature, doing yoga, go swimming, clicking pictures, as well reading and writing. My interests are wide ranged, as I'm an open minded, tolerant person.Mostrar idioma original

Durante mis primeros viajes tuve por fin la oportunidad de practicar realmente mi inglés, lo que fue (por supuesto) totalmente diferente, en comparación con estar en clase, incluso mi profesor de inglés era realmente bueno. Mi confianza a la hora de hablar un idioma extranjero, así como mi pronunciación, gramática y vocabulario, aumentaron increíblemente.
Viví unos cuatro años en la India y gran parte de mi vida diaria allí consistió en aprender y vivir un idioma, en el que ni siquiera la escritura es la latina.

I believe in a free and flexible teaching style and I am creating an atmosphere where you feel good and comfortable by the surrounding, so you can ask anytime questions and have a safe space for free speech.
However your needs are and which topics will come up we will discuss and deepen grammar in a structured way to strengthen the base of the language or to do the "fine-art-work".

I was very happy to meet Katharina. We read a text together and she was able to guide me to understand it, using German as much as possible in her explanations. I also like her calm personality and willingness to be flexible with what I wanted to work on.

Our trial lesson was excellent. Katharina adjusted to my level and was very helpful in correcting all the mistakes I made. She was patient when I was struggling with constructing sentences and helped me along the way. I will definitely be scheduling more lessons with her in the future.
