Hi! I am a South African woman in my late 20s. I love meeting new people and teaching online. Some of my hobbies include reading, listening to podcasts and spending time with friends and family, including my 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have over 3 years of experience teaching English online and mainly working with adult students. I have helped students prepare for interviews and pass tests, including the IELTS test. I have access to books and teaching websites that I use to set up lesson plans and have also built up a large list of topics for conversation lessons.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
My teaching style can be different from student to student, depending on what the student needs from me, but I am naturally easy-going and relaxed. I am also very patient and understanding. I try my best to make students feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn from them.
My lessons can be as simple as having a conversation, or it can include worksheets and exercises for improving your General English, or even Business English. I'm also flexible when it comes to scheduling and lesson planning.

The teacher was easygoing and patient. She spoke with perfect and easy to understand standard English that helped me so much to speak more and more confidently. It was a nice and useful hour!

I would recommend Nicola as a teacher without hesitation. She was extremely personable throughout the lesson, so we talked easily about a wide array of topics. Anybody interested in English or Afrikaans culture should take a lesson. Thanks again for all your help. See you soon.
