Another enjoyable, insightful lesson on my quest to better learn Cebuano/Bisaya. Chel does an amazing job of bringing language and culture together to make a complete learning experience!

I absolutely loved my Tagalog/Filipino lesson with Chel. She had a PDF document with great notes perfectly suited for my level, and she also taught me every topic I asked about. I can't wait to learn all of these words and phrases, as well as for our next lesson. She made the lesson personal, so everything I learned I could use right away!

During the trial lesson for Cebuano, Chel was very friendly & welcoming, getting to know me first as a person (where I live, family, friends, work) while inserting some vocab (clarifying by speaking & typing) as needed. I fully understand Cebuano and am just now practicing speaking & writing it. She said there aren't really clear grammar rules for Cebuano like Filipino/Tagalog, except the ones she observed & took note of herself, but since I already know the language, this is not a problem. She has learning documents to share during the full lesson, so I look forward to exchanging our learning of grammar for Cebuano, while she helps me build my vocab! Maraming salamat po (:
