Carmen

I really enjoyed my first lesson with Carmen. We talked about food, travel, my trip to Hong Kong and Guangzhou. This was a good opportunity to practice and improve my Cantonese. Thank you.

Great lesson with Carmen! Carmen told me about a local restaurant that became "internet famous". I feel like I am able to better understand Carmen speaking Cantonese. We always review the sentences at the end of the lesson, which also helps a lot!

She's a very attentive teacher, I had a nice conversation with her and i learned so many new words. She is very good at practising a natural way of speaking the language. I feel I learn a lot with her.

Great lesson with Carmen! We talked about waking up late, about cooking with alcohol and about breakfast food. Carmen always has interesting things to talk about. Carmen does a great job of noting down the vocabulary words and helping me with pronunciation!

Carmen helped me with a few words - pronunciation and/or remembering the word. Doing the review with Carmen is a great help because I'm able to understand more and more!

Great lesson with Carmen! We talked about big box stores, like Sam's Club. Carmen told me about how they are in China, and she is happy that there is a Sam's near her. We reviewed the vocabulary and practiced pronunciation. Lessons with Carmen are fun and I always learn a lot about China in our lessons!
