I'm Risa,a native speaker of Japanese. I can help you to study and practice Japanese in English and French.
Also I am formal travel and culture advisor and educational consultant. I used to lived in 6 different countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, France, the United Kingdom, and Japan. So I understand how it is difficult to learn new languages. Also used to work in travel agency so I can also give tips for travels and culture sessions.

多くの国を訪問し、文化や言葉の違いを学んできました。日本に興味のある人たちに日本語も教えてきました。オーストラリアでは、高校での日本語の授業にアシスタントとして働いていたこともあります。私自身も多言語を学んできたからこそ、異国語を学ぶことの難しさを知っています。分かりやすく、言葉を学ぶことに飽きない、楽しい授業をしていきたいと思います。
I have 4 years of experience working in various roles from language teacher in a one-on-one session to group session, culture, and travel advisor. I went above what was expected and made sure to promote each student’s comfort. I have a passion for elevating knowledge of culture and languages, and I am enthusiastic about getting to know each student and figuring out how best to serve their needs. 私自身、異国語を学んでいて一番痛感することが、本で習った言葉のと日常に使われている言葉の違いです。友達同士や会社で使われている自然な、ナチュラルな会話を中心とした授業にしたいと思います。言葉を学ぶ上で、話せるようになりたいから勉強するという気持ちが強い方も多いと思います。自然な流暢な会話を学べるようなレッスンにしたいです。もちろん、文法的なことや読み方・書き方も教えることも可能です。

Another great lesson with Risa! We focused on casual conversation and talked about various topics. Today we talked a good bit about food, in particular tacos, and also the USA election and how many people votes this year compared to 4 years ago. Always really interesting conversation. Risa is always very cheerful and helpful, and has a great sense of curiosity which makes every topic an interesting chat. ありがとうございました！

Risa is a star! I asked Risa to help me work through a manga I am reading and she is the perfect teacher for the job! She sticks to Japanese as much as possible, only using English where absolutely necessary, and has an amazing ability to explain vocabulary and grammar. We worked through the pages at a good pace, allowing me time to fully understand and make notes, but not wasting time either! She helped me repeat and practice tricky sentences, and pointed out areas where I needed help. In short, Risa is an amazing teacher, and a lovely person, and I'm going to be booking many many more lessons with her. Thank you Risa!

Encore un très bon cours avec Risa. Il avait beaucoup de vocabulaire compliqué pour moi, mais Risa m'a tout écrit dans le tchat pour que je puisse réviser ce vocabulaire après. Merci Risa.
