I started learning Persian from scratch a year and a half ago. My motivation is high, and I don't plan to stop, and Shahrzad deserves a lot of credit for that. We discuss various topics in Persian, and I can see that I'm getting better and better. Shahrzad is patient and supports me when I'm trying to express my thoughts.

I chose Shahrzad as a teacher when I needed to update my English skills, primarily for communicating at job interviews. She helped me compose answers to frequently asked questions, and together we tailored them to me personally, including the way I communicate (wording, articulation, my native accent, etc). Then we practiced the answers. She was very helpful to control non-verbal communication (verbal fillings, tone of voice, etc.). After mastering this part, she helped me with proper communication and responses to many questions about my CV, and taught me how to communicate some of the activities correctly in English. We continued to practice the basic questions too. Every single hour went more than very pleasantly, and I appreciate that Shahrzad managed to be very subtle but unambiguous even in very lively discussions, I love hours with Shahrzad.

Today was my first Farsi lesson with Shahrzad. I could tell right from the start that she is very professional in language teaching. She is very knowledgeable and her pronunciation is clear. I did make mistakes and she helped correct them right away. The first class was quite a lot to take in since the letters and pronunciation are still new to me, but she helped me through and was very encouraging. Thanks, Shahrzad! See you next class!

I’ve been studying Persian with Shahrzad for almost two years now and I am satisfied with each single class with her. I’ve mastered the grammar and now our focus is on expanding vocabulary and practicing everyday use of the language. Shahrzad is a great teacher, she has the patience and skill to explain all the nuances of the language.

I had my 30th lesson with Shahrzad today and I must say that I feel like I want at least 100 more. The biggest plus for me is that I know the curriculum, I know which topics we will do next and I can prepare for the classes. Feedback Shahrzad gives me is also always really helpful and adjusted to my level. During classes I feel like I learn a lot of new things but the same time I am not overwhelmed with new information. I have many chances to speak and to use vocabulary and grammar I've learned before. Shahrzad is a very patient, kind and dilligent teacher, I recommend classes with her to everyone who really wants to see progress in their Persian quickly.
