Me llamo Alisha. Soy una entusiasta de las actividades al aire libre a la que le encanta viajar en busca de nuevas experiencias. Aprender algo nuevo sobre el mundo, especialmente sobre diferentes culturas, me fascina. Mi sueño es ver mundo, y conocer gente de diferentes destinos forma parte de ese sueño. Hasta que alcance esa meta, estoy deseando conocer a estudiantes de diversos orígenes que puedan enseñarme lo que les gusta de su cultura a través del aprendizaje de inglés en línea.
Cuando no estoy enseñando, me gusta escuchar música, escribir, ir de excursión, la fotografía, el arte, montar a caballo y leer, por nombrar algunos, ya que la lista de mis intereses es cada vez mayor.

El aprendizaje es un proceso que nunca se detiene. Como educadores, nuestro trabajo es facilitar el aprendizaje como guía. Mi filosofía como profesor es ayudar a guiar a los estudiantes hacia el éxito y asegurarme de que aprovechan al máximo sus habilidades y capacidades únicas. En una clase, los alumnos aprenden mejor cuando están relajados, disfrutando y comprometiéndose con un material significativo y cuidadosamente proporcionado en función de sus necesidades de aprendizaje. Los estudiantes se fijarán objetivos mientras evalúan sus áreas débiles, incluyendo gramática, pronunciación, escritura, lectura y comprensión auditiva, y lo más importante, ¡mientras se divierten en un entorno atractivo! Utilizo un enfoque de enseñanza comunicativa de la lengua (CLT), que permite a los estudiantes aprender de sus conversaciones en torno a sus intereses, aficiones, entorno de trabajo u objetivos específicos. Se introduce nuevo vocabulario; se observa y practica nueva gramática mientras el estudiante se involucra en el tema que ha elegido. Busco utilizar mis habilidades en los últimos años de enseñanza para llevar la educación y el entusiasmo de nuevo a la clase. Students were given homework, lesson tasks and learned through a PPP approach common to Japanese classroom standards. Alisha is the most trustworthy tutor I have ever met. She helped me achieve a TOEFL score of 98, guiding me step-by-step from being a complete beginner in English to where I am now. Her support went beyond just preparing me for the exam; she played a crucial role in helping me gain admission to the graduate school I wanted.
I particularly struggled with writing. Back in China, the education system doesn’t focus much on English writing, so I was still at a very basic level. I used to spend two hours writing just a 200-word essay! Alisha patiently taught me how to structure essays, improve my writing skills, and craft a strong statement of purpose.
