I have been taking Telugu conversation lessons with Aswani once a week for about a year now. She is patient, knowledgeable, and makes every lesson enjoyable. She explains the main grammar concepts for conversations in an easy way, and we practice these concepts along with vocabulary during our lessons. Thanks to her guidance, I’ve made noticeable progress with both speaking and understanding Telugu.

Has a very strong command of both English grammar and Telugu grammar, so able to address detailed questions and explain intracacies between the two languages.

Classes are always a blast and the teacher provides a range of exercises that keeps things interesting. She also encourages your strengths while focusing on improving your weaknesses, helping you grow.

Aswanigaru is a fantastic and committed teacher. She is effortlessly kind but appropriately strict in her instruction, and is immediately apparent how much joy she takes in teaching others. Even in our introductory lesson she made sure to teach something because she believes, like a true guru, every moment is a teaching moment. I never feel shy or embarrassed practicing with or learning from her; instead, I feel motivated and excited for each class. Every language teacher should takes notes from her - I cannot recommend her instruction highly enough!!

Aswani Gaaru is a great teacher. She is very patient and comes with a plan for each class. I highly recommend her.

She is the most patient teacher! She waits while I sound out letters and lets me correct myself before jumping in! She’s very good at teaching small manageable pieces until I get it!
