I have been taking lessons with Mizuki先生 for almost a year now and extremely impressed with his professionalism and teaching style. He is incredibly knowledgeable about "みんなの日本語", and pays close attention to every smallest details. He is very focused on building a solid foundation and also ensuring that I am developing good habits when it comes to pronunciation and speaking and writing in an idiomatic manner. I always look forward to the beginning of our lessons, as Mizuki先生 takes the time to share interesting tidbits about Japanese culture and news, making the experience both informative and fun. Mizuki-sensei is a very professional, detail-oriented teacher. He provides great explanations even for complicated grammar concepts, and always opens class with an interesting discussion of current events/holidays in Japan. Purchasing a lesson package with Mizuki-sensei has been one of the best investments I have made in my Japanese language studies. I highly recommend booking a lesson with Mizuki-sensei, so long as you don't take my regular time slot!

This was my first trial lessonwith Mizuki sensei. On the bright side, I am happy that he has a plan for my next lesson and is helping me strengthen my N3 base before moving onto N2; however, when I first interacted with him, he was speaking japanese very fast, and knowing my vocab is not the best, I was left dazed in the call. Better keep in mind to ask him to talk slower next time so new students like me aren't overwhelmed and wide-eyed. Other than that, he is flexible and listens to the student's needs and tweaks his plans according to their learning style. His method of teaching consists of controlled output, nuanced grammar explanations, and refinement from what I have seen from him in the class. He would be hardcore for prepping you for the JLPT exam.

I have been taking classes with Mizuki-sensei for close to two years in a row, and I have nothing but praise for his classes. He is very professional, flexible, and knowledgeable. He can teach anything from basic Japanese, JLPT, business Japanese, or anything else that the student wants to focus on. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that wants to learn/practice Japanese, regardless of level or goals.

Mizuki sensei was amazing with asking my goals and helping me to plan and guide out a plan for us to study with. He was also sure to ask questions on what my goals were and explained how he would help me hit them. Looking forward to my next lesson.
