Writing Coach Shinae

Shinae provided me with really helpful feedback once again. Although the lesson is not in person, she really is supportive and very encouraging. She always makes sure to tell you about your strong points, and gives timely corrections in a way I can understand and use for the future. She is also supportive and gives helpful tips/methods to improve my writing. 감사합니다 신애 쌤!

신애씨 is an excellent teacher and I thoroughly enjoy our lessons. Her English ability is the best of any native teacher I have met on Italki which makes it very easy to communicate and translate more complicated concepts between the languages when my Korean breaks down. The lessons never feel awkward and she is very patient and helpful.

Shinae did a great job on a multiple day (multiple lessons purchased) translation for me. She translated simple children's stories from English into Korean for me. She was easily able to use a Google Doc for the translation project and comment back and forth when both she or I had any questions or concern about how to translate tricky parts. I'd definitely recommend her for any of your translation needs :-)

Shinae's corrections and suggestions were everything I was hoping for! When I sent in my page of writing I was worried it was an irredeemable mess, but she was able to see my strengths while also giving clear feedback on the parts I was struggling with. I'm really looking forward to my writing improving more and more under her care.

Excellent! As I'm doing a self-guided course, I have a lot of questions and want to make sure I'm using things correctly, but without a teacher, it's a challenge. Thankfully Shinae accepted my request and corrected a short piece of writing for me. Her explanations and corrections were incredibly helpful. She maintained what I wanted to say while correcting beginner level errors and gave me suggestions about what grammar form might be more appropriate.

Although I write about difficult topics, Shinae's feedback is very helpful. She also provides me with helpful new grammar and makes sure my writing is more logical and helps me understand where there could be contradictions too. Although it is difficult, I can feel that I am slowly, but surely improving and I hope to continue to write with Shinae to improve my accuracy. 감사합니다 신애 쌤!
