Gabriel Colipán

Gabriel is an incredibly generous, thoughtful, and funny tutor, and I give him my highest recommendation. We especially connected because we are both fiction writers, but I imagine that he is able to help and support any kind of person with their language goals. For me, I was looking to improve my understanding of Chilean Spanish in advance of a work conference, and to practice speaking with my colleagues. Gabriel did a great job identifying vocabulary and topics that would be useful to me, as well as answering the specific vocabulary and usage questions I would usually bring to our sessions. Don’t hesitate to book a class with Gabriel!

Gabriel is a very good instructor and is great at explaining concepts to me in a way I understand! And if I don’t understand immediately, he’ll find another way to explain! Ask him about his writing, he’s very creative !

Gabriel was my teacher for 2 years. He helped me to go through the TOEFL, and, when I successfully passed it, we continued to work together. He always adjusted to my needs (if I had troubles with grammar, we did grammar; if I had troubles with speaking, we did it as much as possible, and so on). In addition, I appreciate punctuality in others, so I was glad to see him constantly in time. Gabriel has done a great job, and I am very grateful!
