Raman Deep

Ramandeep is a remarkable teacher who knows how to edify his students when teaching the Gurmukhi alphabet. As a beginner in learning alphabets that are derived from Sanskrit, he goes over Gurmukhi pronunciation, and the use of it's letters in several Punjabi words.

Today we talked about the alphabet and pronunciation. Our lesson lasted a little longer than planned, probably because I have so many questions :) but Raman was very willing to take extra time to make sure we got through all the material. Thanks, Raman!

I will be continuing my lessons with Raman. I came in with a little Hindi knowledge so we were able to adapt to my knowledge.

At my request we discussed culture and traditions in Punjab. I learned a lot and Raman was very open and forthcoming with answering my (probably obvious and silly) questions.

Great teacher, very knowledgable, understanding, and helpful. Solid command of the Punjabi language -- makes it easy to learn.
