I grew up and did my schooling in Germany, before living 13 years in Australia, completing a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies and a Master of International Relations. As a journalist I worked eight years for the ABC in Australia and Dow Jones Newswires in Germany, before becoming a business translator. In 2017 I moved to Mexico to learn Spanish, and was approached and trained by a business-focused global language school, before teaching at a private university. My classes focus on language skills for professional settings, such as fluency for the work place, preparing for job interviews and conferences, and dealing with international clients. My daily work includes teaching groups and individuals, and preparing, conducting and grading exams from beginners to B2.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
I prefer a conversational teaching style, because I want you to be able to go out and confidently talk to people. Focusing on speaking doesn’t mean we’ll ignore grammar. But we’ll learn it while practicing for real-life situations, which is more effective than just rattling down grammatical rules. In the first class we'll establish your level, motivations and goals, and what settings you will use your new skills in, so that I can personalize each lesson. I'll then establish scenarios you'll likely find yourself in, and we practice relevant vocabulary, expressions and grammar through conversation, before doing a role-play to get you using everything you just learned right away.Mi material didáctico

Nicola ist eine super-mega-tolle Lehrerin! Nach 3 Tage habe ich meine C1-Abschlußprüfung. Davor hatte ich große Angst vor dieser Prüfung. Aber dank Nicola geht es mir jetzt schon viel besser! Sie hat mich alles erklärt und viele zusätzlichen Materialen, die sehr nützlich sind, empfohlen! Die Unterrichtsstunde sind immer interessant und lustig und die Zeit vergeht sehr schnell.
