My session with Alan was my first session on italki and it was a great experience. Alan was supportive and allowed me a second to think when I was stuck before gently correcting or offering the word I was looking for. I am still quite nervous speaking Spanish, especially since it's been a long time, so I was worried there would be a lot of awkward silence. Alan continued the conversation by asking questions that I could understand but that made me think. Definitely recommend Alan for conversational practice!

Alan is great! He’s able to speak as slowly as I need him to and he’s happy to repeat and type things out when I need a little extra help. He’s also great at subtly correcting me and teaching me how to properly speak. Thanks Alan!
