I've been studying Portuguese with Clara a couple of times per week for about six months. Her command of the English language (and accent) as a non-native speaker is impressive. She clearly knows what it takes to learn another language. Clara is an excellent instructor. She has led my progress from a beginner with a basic Portuguese vocabulary that I picked up on Duolingo to my being able to hold real conversations with Brazilians. I am confident that this progress will continue with her assistance and support. Clara strikes a great balance of fun and instruction. I am learning, and I enjoy our conversations. I'm always looking forward to our next class. If you are searching for a Portuguese instructor, I highly recommend Clara. Obrigado Clara!

I always look forward to my lessons with Clara. She is so fun and interesting, and the time flies by! I love that she gives me a little homework each time, and is excellent at engaging in conversation and teaching how to speak colloquially (como um verdadeiro brasileiro). 10/10 would recommend to anyone interested in seriously learning, in a fun and constructive way. I feel a little more fluent each lesson. :)

As someone who has tried multiple times to learn a language and inevitably fallen off, it was a breath of fresh air to stumble upon Clara. Clara is a master of her craft, but she also has a great personality to add to the equation, making each class a great experience as language learning can sometimes become dry as a desert. With excellent guidance during class + a simple plan outside of class to execute upon, I can't speak highly enough about Clara's teaching and approach to language learning.
