Maura is very patient - she makes learning Mandarin very enjoyable and I'm much thankful for that!

Maura is awesome! I came to Italki looking for someone knowledgeable, kind, and enthusiastic, and Maura is all of those things and more! Highly recommend!

Maura was great. She provided prep materials based on my notes to her about what I was interested in. She was prompt and pleasant. She understood what I was saying and asking, and her responses were clear and on point. She was easy to understand. She also provided follow up notes on the topics we discussed. I plan to schedule another appointment at some point in the future.

Maura is a great teacher who is not only friendly but also very knowledgable. When I told her what I wanted to learn at very start of class, she was able to quickly put together a last minute lesson plan that was perfect for my needs and language level! I really enjoy the classes - they are fun and engaging, and they leave me more and more motivated to keep improving. Thanks Maura!

After about 10 lessons and getting to know her, she is a fantastic teacher. She makes sure you understand that lesson before continuing to the next one. Gives me short voice texts though italki, which helps me pronounce the words correctly. EXTREMELY patient with me. Doesn’t try to rush me while I figure out the translation. Very fun and cheerful, makes the class so much more enjoyable.

Hola a todos, les dejaré una review muy honesta sobre la profe Maura. La verdad es que ella es muy agradable, definitivamente sabe corregir de forma acertiva y respetuosa, fijándose siempre en no mantener errores o malos habitos a la hora de hablar o leer el idioma, por lo cual le agradezco. Estuve mucho tiempo buscando un profesor o profesora que de verdad me hiciera aprender y considero que Maura es una de ellas. Realmente se y siento que aprendo, Siempre con su retroalimentación que es realmente útil para mejorar en el idioma y no estancarse en los mismos errores. En nuestra clase de hoy trabajamos bastante los tonos y pronunciación de consonantes. Aún queda mucho por estudiar, pero con Maura se hace mas leve. ¡¡ Le agradezco mucho !! La verdad la recomiendo muchisimo para gente que quiera mejorar sus habilidades y corregir malos habitos de pronunciación o lectura. 👐😉
