Annabel

Annabel is just a fantastic teacher. When I first came to italki I was overwhelmed with the number of teachers available, and I had no idea how to go about finding the right one. After going through a few trial lessons, I decided to work with Annabel. I feel I am very lucky to have such a great teacher, she is organized, patient and, just as important to me, she makes the lessons fun. I have made incredible progress and recommend her very highly!

I have now taken lessons from Annabel for over 6 months, and she has been a fantastic teacher. I’ve posted several comments complimenting her teaching abilities, but that is only part of the reason I think so highly of her. For me, attempting to speak to a native speaker in a language I am just starting is really intimidating, but she always puts me at ease and has helped me believe that this is something I can be successful in. I find I really look forward to my classes with her and I am always wishing the class was longer. Over the years, I have taken classes for various hobbies, academic or professional needs and I generally find myself watching the clock just hoping it will end soon, but in my classes with Annabel, I’m always surprised when the time ends as it feels like we just started and for me that just confirms I have the perfect teacher.
