I've been studying with Aya-sensei every week for over half a year now. I'm continually impressed with Aya-sensei's ability to always challenge me without making it too difficult or too easy. Progress is steady and I can sincerely recommend Aya-sensei to anyone who wishes to improve their Japanese.

Today marks my 10th lesson with Aya-sensei. Every lesson has been an absolute joy with lots of learning, patience and discussions. I always look forward to our lessons & I am motivated to do my best in class. Aya-sensei provides many ways of learning Japanese from quizes (often featuring very surprising, but always enjoyable character cameos from across pop culture), roleplaying scenarios to practice spoken conversation and reading and writing exercises. I highly recommend Aya-sensei as your next tutor for learning Japanese!!

First official lesson with Aya sensei. Aya sensei is a Cambridge CELTA-qualified teacher who is very good at engaging students using well-graded questions. Her approach is highly student-centred, allowing me plenty of opportunities to practise listening and speaking.

I had my first lesson with Aya and I was really satisfied. 🌸 She is a kind and attentive teacher, able to quickly understand what a student truly needs when starting to learn a new language. I really liked how she guided the lesson, focusing on the most useful points to work on first, while giving clear explanations and practical advice. Even though she speaks Italian, I preferred to have the lesson in English: this allows me to practice both English and Japanese, which makes the experience simply perfect … just like her English! Her English is excellent and makes communication smooth and enjoyable. Time flew by, and the lesson was both interesting and motivating. I’m really looking forward to continuing with more lessons!

Aya sensei è un’insegnante attenta e fornisce opportunità per parlare e mettere in pratica quando studiato durante la lezione. La lezione è strutturata per incontrare le mie esigenze di apprendimento. Nulla è lasciato al caso e si vede. Un’ora di lezione vola e mi è utile per progredire nello studio della lingua.
