This week I practiced using the past tense to talk about what I have been doing. Martina had recommended some exercises I could do as homework to help me improve. We also talked about her week and the things we both plan to do before we talk again. This is important practice for me as I want to be able to chat with my Italian neighbours.

I enjoyed meeting Martina and felt comfortable and encouraged to practice speaking Italian to her.

Martina is amazing! We talk about many different topics and use a variety of materials to help guide the lesson. Martina brings a depth of patience and understanding of the language learning journey that makes every single class fun and enjoyable. It feels like catching up with a friend that is teaching me Italian rather than an over structured intimidating learning environment. Lessons with Martina have elevated my Italian considerably and I would recommend her to any and everyone looking to have fun and learn about the Italian culture and language in a relaxed and easy way.
