Hi! I’m Alex, a PGCE-qualified teacher with over six years of experience teaching in London, China, and Peru.
I’m 30 years old and, when I’m not teaching, I’m usually playing drums in my band or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I am currently learning Mandarin myself, so I know exactly how challenging, frustrating, and ultimately rewarding the language-learning journey can be. Yo como profesor
Creo que un buen profesor debe ser un compañero que te apoye en tu aprendizaje, no solo un conferenciante. Durante mi estancia en China, tuve el orgullo de recibir el premio al «Profesor del Año», un reconocimiento a mi compromiso con el progreso y la implicación de mis alumnos.
Habiendo impartido clases en diversos entornos internacionales, me siento muy cómoda trabajando con alumnos de todos los orígenes y niveles. Tanto si eres un principiante total como si buscas perfeccionar tu inglés profesional, te ofrezco un ambiente tranquilo, alentador y paciente en el que puedas sentirte seguro al cometer errores, porque así es como realmente aprendemos.

My teaching philosophy is built around Comprehensible Input. I don’t believe in just memorising dry lists of words; I believe in learning language in context.
Immersion through Media: We will use real-world photos, videos, and articles to spark conversation and introduce new vocabulary naturally.
