Soy Thao. Nací y crecí en Hanoi. Me encanta viajar, disfrutar de la comida, conocer gente y experimentar cosas nuevas. Por eso, he elegido trabajar como guía turística, principalmente en Vietnam; así que si tienes pensado visitar Vietnam próximamente, no dudes en hacerme preguntas :)

Soy un profesor de vietnamita certificado y he estado enseñando vietnamita a los expatriados que viven en Hanoi y en línea desde 2008. Solía trabajar para centros de enseñanza de idiomas, pero ahora estoy trabajando como profesor de vietnamita independiente. Tengo experiencia enseñando a estudiantes de muchos países del mundo como Europa, Estados Unidos, Australia y Asia.
Me encanta enseñar, conocer estudiantes de diferentes países y disfrutar de la gente estudiando y amando nuestro idioma.

Te enseñaré de la forma más familiar con tu lengua materna y los idiomas que conozcas. Mi estilo de enseñanza es estricto y libre al mismo tiempo; y necesito la cooperación constructiva y la interacción con los estudiantes.
Mis lecciones también se basan en sus necesidades, como centrarse en la pronunciación / escritura / gramática.

It was yet another productive and fruitful lesson with Chị Thảo today, as we did two listening exercises and reviewed vocabulary related to time and schedules. Chị Thảo has also made it a point to correct my homework, and I am very heartened to see how I have managed to use the words and structures learnt so far to describe my daily schedules and activities - definitely looking forward to more lessons!

Excellent teaching so far for someone who spoke a bit as a child, but is still a beginner. Good materials and nice cultural knowledge, as well as focus and attention on proper pronunciation. A+!

Thảo has great lessons. She is friendly, I feel more relaxed with her than the other tutors I tried. She also integrates some of the culture into the lesson. Today we practiced tones and used vietnamese cities to practice those tones. She took the time to say a little about each city, and it was nice to have some culture in the lesson.
Lessons are paced well: a quick test of last lesson's material, and then the rest is new vocab!

Thao is exceptional and will help you accomplish your Vietnamese learning goals at any level.
Her lessons are well-structured, with each session building upon the previous one. She provides homework that reinforces the concepts covered in class and dedicates time to review it thoroughly at the beginning of each lesson. She is patient and innovative, giving analogies and visualizations on how to memorize and interpret concepts.

I love learning with Thao. Because of my unpredictable schedule I cannot have regular lessons but I have been coming back to her for the past 4 years and I think that means something. She is amazing - very informative, full of good energy, patience. Just a great pedagogue. So happy she is active on this platform and I can have a true learning experience with a Hanoian!
