Shinegi Duong 先生

Duong is a good teacher and is patient with me. And takes time to explain things. She gives me exercises for homework. This can be listening exercises or writing a short text. She puts class notes in a google doc for my later reference. She also has created a document with slides with pictures to explain words. Sometimes uses Youtube or Google images to explanation as well. Good teacher!

Great lesson with Shinegi! We learned about using à to indicate surprise or in asking a question. We listened to some examples and put together a few sentences for each example. Shinegi also called attention to places where the pronunciation of certain words is important in order to avoid confusion. I appreciate it when Shinegi helps me with pronunciation!

Great lesson with Shinegi! We learned about different uses for thêm and với, with examples of each. Shinegi also explains how Vietnamese people use the different words for different emotions, which is very helpful to understand. We also reviewed a listening exercise. I appreciate how Shinegi incorporates listening because it is also helping with pronunciation!
