I only had three classes, but I can already say that she is a fantastic teacher. I am working on my pronunciation, and she knows linguistics very well. She is able to find and understand all my weaknesses and give me the right tools to work on it. She also uses excel as a way to go over all the words we are working on, with the parts that I struggle with, and using the international alphabet. Furthermore, I can modify what I see depending and what I want to study thanks to the formulas she uses in excel. She gives me great websites and videos to allow me to practice on my own in between each class. As a language teacher myself, I can confidently recommend Marta to anyone who wants to improve their English.

A teacher with an excellent ear who can precisely point out which letters or syllables sound off. She's the perfect choice if you want to improve your accent. She'll teach you which words to say differently so they sound better. Thanks to her lessons, I can hear differences in sounds that used to escape me, and after each lesson I get a list of words (often, these are simple, common words) with notes on what to improve so they sound better and don't stand out in conversation with native speakers. Marta definitely has the best ratio of valuable feedback per lesson among all my teachers on italki.
