Always a great session with Theo, even after weeks of not practicing he has a very encouraging and engaging way or looping you back in. I really appreciate his teaching style and can honestly say he is the best tutor I have come across for German.

Lessons with Theo are always great he is super patient and reliable. With him you feel like you can speak German without worrying a lot about your grammar mistakes ( which in German usually it’s very easy to make one let’s face it 😅) , he always provides you with corrections in a way that doesn’t break the flow of the conversation and on top of that he is a cool guy.

I have had several lessons now with Theo. I give him a 5-star rating as a community tutor because: (1) he smiles a lot!; (2) he allows the student to speak, but gently interrupts to correct mistakes; and (3) he writes down corrections and suggestions that I can review later (my last 45 min lessons included 25 notes made by Theo).

Theo is one of a kind. Even after not being consistent with German and taking a long break he makes you feel comfortable to get back to learning and he creates a very inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
