Lessons with Rie san are consistently fantastic. She has a very lively and engaging method and she chronicles each step in a systematic, useful way. Her grammatical knowledge is fantastic ensuring you learn quickly and accurately.

Lessons with Rie are really fun. She motivates me to express myself in Japanese and I am no longer afraid of making mistakes. Studying Japanese with Rie San is one of the most enjoyable aspects of my day. While I may not be the greatest student, she certainly IS the greatest tutor. She is patient and flexible which is extremely valuable in my long-term journey to learn this rather difficult language. I appreciate her positive nature and calm approach toward helping me with my lifelong dream of learning this language.

After some time away from studying because of other commitments, I'm happy to return to Japanese study with Rie San. As always, her good-natured attitude and skill as a tutor allow me to pick up right where I left off.
