Hello! I am a Russian native speaker and a professional teacher of Russian language. I live near Moscow. I graduated from Moscow State University and I have a masters degree in history. After I started working as a language teacher I tried different teaching approaches and now practice only those that are the most effective. I learnt different foreign languages during my life and I know how difficult it can be, when you invest a lot of time and effort, know grammar and don’t see the result and motivation goes down. I am very patient and friendly with my students, and make my lessons the way they are interesting for students. I practice the approach that brings the student to result in a comfortable friendly atmosphere. The main point is you will have a lot of practice just from the first lesson, and there will be no lessons where I tell you a lot of theory and you just listen. I also speak English fluently, so if you are a total beginner don’t be afraid that you won’t understand a word :)Mis clases y método de enseñanza
My lessons are well organized, but they are also fun because I am sure: if it’s interesting, you will learn faster. I know that the speaking practice is the most difficult part for many people, and I know how to help you with this. Tell me before our first lesson what is your goal and we’ll work together to meet it. If you are not sure what exactly you want I will suggest different options: conversational Russian, Russian for travellers, understanding Russian books, films or news etc., so you can choose area we will dive into. Anya is very patient and polite. I was shy at the beginning when making mistakes, but now Anya encourages me to speak and make mistakes in order to learn from them. I am learning a lot from every session as she organizes/systemizes the way she presents information which gives me the opportunity to gradually improve my vocab and speaking ability. Anya is certainly a great instructor, and I highly recommend her lessons.

Great instructions and strategies to keep me in touch with the Russian Language... Anya is very smart, and she is extremely polite and patient. I highly recommend taking classes with Anya because you won't only learn Russian, but you will be enjoying your time as well.
