Hi, I'm Seijiro! I'm a Japanese language teacher from Kumamoto, Japan. I currently live in Melbourne, Australia and I've been teaching Japanese since 2015. I speak Japanese and English.
My favourite food is Unadon (Eel and rice bowl) and I like anime too. I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about their culture and I have a passion for languages and philosophy.

He enseñado a mucha gente de diferentes orígenes y tengo experiencia enseñando japonés en Japón y en Australia. No sólo soy profesora de japonés sino que también estudié lingüística y ciencias cognitivas en la universidad. Con mi experiencia y conocimientos, puedo ayudarte a aprender japonés más rápido y correctamente, para que no te quedes atascado repitiendo la misma clase una y otra vez.

I have also acquired experience practising lessons with various students from different backgrounds. They ranged from one on one lessons to 30 people a class lessons and I have adapted to different student needs. Therefore, I believe that I can give lessons according to all the learning goals, which will be of great help to you.
I often use drawings and pictures during lessons to help students understand. Visual information can greatly help and I've found that Zoom is the best. So I recommend taking our lessons with Zoom because in my opinion, it is the most efficient.
I strongly recommend booking a package for regular, cheaper lessons.Mi material didáctico

I have weekly lessons with Mr Seijiro since Sept 2020 to prepare for the JLPT. Mr Seijiro is an experienced and responsible teacher with very good English. He is strong in grammar teaching, besides explaining the grammar in a clear and systematic way, he would illustrate them with daily examples and make colourful and easy-to-read notes during lessons. Moreover, he corrects my pronunciation (and the intonation as well) whenever I got it wrong, and it’s important in my conversation practice.
Mr Seijiro is amiable, helpful and open-minded. He gives constructive comments in preparing the exam. Though I always rush my homework before lessons, I enjoy learning Japanese with Mr Seijiro.

Seijiro is an amazing & wonderful teacher ! He truly has a great energy, he's extremely kind, enthusiastic, helpful, patient, dynamic, and professional ! I absolutely enjoyed this lesson, I learned a ton of useful things and the 60min went flying ! I would recommend him without the blink of an eye to everybody ! Domo arigato !!!

I tried some other teachers on Italki and Seijiro-Sensei was definitely the best! I am excited to continue lessons with him as he is very clear and precise. He will be honest and practice with you and tell you exactly what is important to continue on. He is very prepared and also has worksheets or visual displays to help you too! Thank you so much for the wonderful lesson Sensei!

he agreed to reply in english so i could focus on my own japanese first, and he's easy to talk to so the conversation went pretty smoothly and made the conversation practice pretty fun
