I have taken lessons with Elaine for 5 weeks and she is always well prepared for what we need to be going through. Even though I am usually very low on energy, she still seems to know how to keep me awake and push me forward in my learning of the language. Under her guidance, I truly feel that I will be able to be speaking conversational Chinese within a year which will set me up perfectly for a lot of my goals. I’ve gone through far too many teachers that I feel confident in saying Elaine is a fantastic teacher to start learning from. Hopefully in one of my future reviews I can write in mandarin instead of English!

Elaine did a great job teaching me pronunciation. We worked on first and third tones until I could say it correctly. She is very patient! She taught me new vocab for greetings and names of family members and nationalities. I felt like I leaned a lot in this lesson
