Hi everyone! My name is Asami. I was born in Tokyo, and am currently living in Trieste, Italy. My hobbies are cooking and folding origami, and I'm also an origami artist. I also like watching Japanese anime and dramas, and reading books! Hope to see you in my class!

My lesson with Asami was one of the best classes I've ever taken on Italki! I was so nervous before my lesson as it was my first Italki class in Japanese, but as soon as I started talking with Asami I felt at ease. She is so kind, encouraging, and supportive. I already can't wait for my next lesson with her. Thank you Asami for a wonderful class! I had so much fun.

Every lesson with Asami is great! I can't even say how beneficial it is talking to her in Japanese. She is fun, patient and extremely helpful. I feel like my Japanese is getting better after each lesson. Looking forward to the next lesson!
