Grace

Grace is an amazing and very patient teacher and very patient. She has a good way of supporting my understanding as I navigate Chinese. Highly recommended.

I always look forward to my lessons with Grace. In her custom lesson we do a combination of; talking about our week and interests to learn new words, picking a topic of focus (eg weather) that i study in advance to and detailed breakdowns of words i find tricky. We also cover some theory about learning the characters. This variety keeps the lesson fun and exciting. Her pronounciation is very clear and easy to understand. I already feel more confident to speak and use the correct grammar since our classes started.

Today was the best day ever. My teacher Grace and I looked over my interest in Chinese hip-hop and she helped me not only understand the lyrics of my song favourite song, but also how to pronounce it correctly and understand the meaning as well. I look forward to learning more about Chinese culture, music, poetry, art, and literature. Thank you teacher Grace for all you’ve done.

My teacher is very smart and she makes learning easy and fun. It feels like I’m talking to a friend that knows a lot and she explains why things are the way they are. This makes me want to learn more. See you at the next lesson.
