Edson is fantastic. He seamlessly flows from discussions about your day and life events to instructional materials that somehow are always relevant to what is discussed, and make it all the more engaging. His lessons are immersion, and even at the very basic levels like I’m at he makes it feasible to understand and learn. I’m grateful for his patience and fun demeanor, and have already started seeing the progress I was hoping for! Incredibly talented, organized, and effective. ¡Muchas gracias Edison!

I have been meeting with Edson for several weeks now, and he's one of my favorite teachers I've found on italki. He comes to class very prepared and keeps things fun and interesting, and he has adapted really well to my level to make things feel sufficiently difficult without me being in over my head. While we cover a wide variety of topics, he always keeps in mind my ultimate goal with learning the language (being able to use Spanish as a therapist to provide services to the Spanish-speaking community in my city once I've graduated college), and every class feels relevant to that goal. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking to start or continue learning Spanish.

Edson is an outstanding teacher. I have had 20 lessons with him over 4 months and each lesson is fresh and interesting. We include vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and intonation during our conversations on many topics but, in addition to that, Edson brings a truly global perspective to the language. Always well prepared, patient, friendly and resourceful, Edson has had a huge impact on my language learning.

Edson is an incredible professional and great at what he does. His lessons are engaging and they click at the end like no other lesson I've had. I highly recommend Edson as a teacher.
