I’m Miss K from NKLingo, a passionate and friendly language teacher with over 10 years of experience in Germany, the U.S., and Canada. I studied German linguistics and graphic design, and later earned my teaching degree in the U.S., where I taught French and Spanish in K–8 schools. They often say, "Do what you love, or love what you do." For me, teaching foreign languages is a true passion—one I would gladly pursue even without compensation. Fluent in both Korean and German, I’ve developed practical, effective methods to easily learn new languages, and I’m excited to share these strategies with my students.
I believe that learning a foreign language goes beyond just words—it’s about connecting with the culture and its people. That’s why my lessons explore a wide array of topics, from history and art to music, travel, and cuisine. She’s knowledgeable about the world and the language. She’s able to explain the language overall very well and is able to correct mistakes effectively. She’s understanding and very effective at finding out to improve your abilities in a language, or in other words; she’s very good at teaching on the spot. With being understanding also makes her kind and eager to learn just as much as you are! I’d highly recommend :)

I’ve never resonated more with a teacher than I have with Miss K. I can say with confidence that she cares to establish a good rapport with her students before anything else! I felt like she cares about me as an individual student as well as my unique learning style.

Learning from Miss K has been a lot of fun. She makes the lessons stress free and more of a conversation as opposed to hardcore classroom feel. Shes great at moving at a speed tailored for the quality of learning. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone!
